Terms of sale

Adding a piece to your bag is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The contract forms when we email your order confirmation. Until then we may decline an order — for example if a piece has sold out, if the price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the delivery address. If we decline after payment, you are refunded in full.

All prices include GST. Prices are in AUD and are confirmed against our records at the moment you check out, so the amount charged is always the current listed price rather than a figure cached in your browser.

Prices can change without notice, but a change never affects an order already confirmed. Where a price is obviously wrong, we will contact you before charging rather than silently cancelling.

Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe’s hosted checkout. We accept the cards and wallets Stripe supports for Australian merchants. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach us — see the privacy policy for what that means in practice.

Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared. A failed or reversed payment entitles us to cancel the order.

Rates, dispatch times and delivery windows are set out on the shipping and returns page and form part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates — once a parcel is with the courier its timing is outside our control, though we will chase it with you.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is marked delivered and has not arrived, tell us within seven days so we can open an investigation with the carrier.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the piece is unworn and in its original box with all inserts. Return postage for a change of mind is yours; postage for a faulty piece is ours, both ways. Full conditions are on the shipping and returns page.

You can cancel an order at no cost any time before it is dispatched — email us with the order number and we will refund it the same day.

Every piece carries a 24-month warranty against manufacturing and material defects, set out in full on the warranty page. That warranty is given in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Because every piece is hand-finished, small variations in grain, tone and finish are expected and are not defects. Screen calibration also affects how colour appears, so a colourway may differ slightly from what you saw on your monitor. If a piece is not what you expected, the change-of-mind return applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the Australian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
